Just Do It
I attended a meeting a couple weeks ago where Tom Davis spoke. Tom is one of the founders of Childrens HopeChest, an organization that is dedicated to helping the growing crisis of orphans around the world.
There are very few times in my life when I have been moved to action literally in the moment. I would encourage anyone that might read this post to by Tom’s book, Red Letters and begin to understand the global AIDS crisis and the orphan crisis it has created, and then take action. You don’t have to quit your job, sell all you have, and move to Africa to live in a hut.
Make sure just one child has food, clothing and shelter every month. It’s a dollar a day.
If you don’t want to go thru Children’s HopeChest for your own personal reasons, find another organization that suits you better, and work with them.
