Fireproof Software Blog Update

Hi there.

I wanted to write a quick note to let you know about a small change to this blog.

Over the past two years, I’ve written a new article about building software products within a business context twice a week for most weeks, addressing many of these posts directly to founders without a technical background. It was and is a labor of love, and I will continue to write on this topic as I run into new areas of interest for me and you, the reader. However, what the last six months of 2017 showed me is that I can’t promise two articles a week on this topic alone going forward.

Software development is changing rapidly with the onset of AI. I read this article last week about AI that can take an image or mockup and write the code for the webpage from it. What’s happening in software and tech is, at least in my opinion, going to be great for those without a tech background wanting to build awesome products.

If you want to continue to receive articles on just this topic, know that I will continue to publish new posts, but likely at a less regular interval. You can stay subscribed as you are right now, and nothing will change.

If you’ve enjoyed what I’ve written on this topic and want to subscribe to the other things I write about (including this topic), you can do so here or you can find me in Feedly or your favorite reader app and subscribe there. I’ll also cross-post all new posts on Medium if that’s your thing.

As with this list, I will never abuse the privilege you’ve given me to show up in your inbox.

Onward.
